She likened building a business to planting a seed, emphasizing the need for constant effort, such as watering, adding manure, and removing weeds, to ensure growth.

Key takeaways from her session included:

Minimize Mistakes: As a business owner, it is crucial to avoid making mistakes as much as possible.

Promote Your Business: Entrepreneurs must be vocal about their business to attract attention and growth.

Continuous Learning: Constantly acquire knowledge, add value to yourself, and grow in your field.

Networking: Building relationships and networking are essential for entrepreneurial success.

Mentorship: Having a mentor or a model in your field to look up to and learn from is vital.

Professionalism: Strive to be a professional in your business and maintain quality relationships.

Challenge Yourself: Surround yourself with people who challenge you to do better.

Feedback from Participants

Priscilla, one of our participants, found the session enlightening. She highlighted that the advice on having a business model and a role model in one's field particularly stood out for her.

Kofo also said one thing that stood out for her during the session is representing her business very well, making a statement with her appearance, having a business model and a goal. Strategize and be consistent.

SkillHer Meet 6.0 was a resounding success, leaving attendees inspired and equipped with valuable insights to navigate their entrepreneurial journeys.

We look forward to our next meet, where we will continue to empower and support women in their professional endeavors.
