Women’s Month often begins with celebration. We recognize the achievements of women across history and the many ways they have shaped our world through courage, creativity, and persistence. Earlier this month, our reflection at SkillHer focused on a simple but powerful idea: Give to Gain. When investment flows towards women and girls , society tends to gain in leaps and bounds. Additionally ,  when women invest in one another through mentorship, encouragement, and opportunity, the impact multiplies. From December 2025 to March 2026 , SkillHer continued its mission of empowering young women through its Job Shadowing and Traineeship Program:  a practical and purpose-driven initiative designed to connect participants with real-world experiences in community engagement, project management, and digital communication. The program was created to bridge the gap between school,   ambition and action , providing young women with the opportunity to observe, participate in, and contribute to meaningful work within a growing social impact organization. Through mentorship, hands-on assignments, and collaborative projects, participants gained practical insights into what it takes to design programs, manage initiatives, and engage communities effectively.
