Reset, Refocus, Rise: A Mid-Year Reminder That There’s Still Time

Image
Two weeks ago, we shared our Mid-Year Check-In blogpost — a moment for reflection, honesty, and taking stock of how the year has unfolded so far. Last week, we continued that conversation through our first SkillHer Saturday Hot Seat, where women in our community opened up about the mistakes, setbacks, and lessons that have shaped their journeys. Those conversations reminded us of something important: growth is not always linear, and every experience carries a lesson. Sometimes growth looks like learning to keep going. Sometimes it looks like choosing yourself again. Sometimes it looks like resting, he...

We talk about climate change, sustainability, renewable energy, and the actions needed to create a healthier future. But beyond these conversations lies another important question: Who gets to shape the solutions? As the world moves toward greener economies, climate innovation, sustainable businesses, and renewable energy, new opportunities are emerging across industries. Yet women remain underrepresented in many of the spaces where decisions are made, resources are allocated, and solutions are designed. This matters because environmental challenges affect everyone, but not always equally. Across many communities, women are often among the first to experience the effects of environmental and climate-related challenges through impacts on livelihoods, food security, health, and household wellbeing. At the same time, women bring valuable perspectives, lived experiences, and innovative ideas that a...
