SkillHer Partners with Tech Impact Club Africa to Empower More Women

 

We are excited to announce a new milestone in the SkillHer journey.

SkillHer has been selected as a recipient of the Future Africa Tech Leaders Campaign (FATLC) 2026 Grant by Tech Impact Club (TIC) Africa. This partnership is a significant step forward in our mission to equip women with the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to thrive in an increasingly digital world.

With this support, we will strengthen SkillHer Coach—our digital platform for continuous learning and support—and launch a new edition of our Skills Acquisition Workshop (SAW) Programme, creating a more connected and impactful learning experience.

Through this initiative, women in our community will have access to:

  • Practical digital, entrepreneurial, and leadership training.

  • Mentorship and career guidance from experienced professionals.

  • SkillHer Coach for continuous learning, coaching, and access to opportunities.

  • A supportive community that fosters collaboration, accountability, and personal growth.

  • Hands-on projects that build confidence, practical experience, and real-world skills.

This partnership goes beyond delivering training sessions. It is about creating a lasting pathway for women to learn, grow, access opportunities, and remain connected to a community that supports their journey long after the programme ends.

We are deeply grateful to TIC Africa for believing in our vision and investing in our work. We also thank our volunteers, facilitators, mentors, partners, and every member of the SkillHer community whose continued support has made this milestone possible.

This is just the beginning. In the coming weeks, we'll be sharing more about our next SAW cohort and how women can become part of this exciting opportunity.

Together, we're building a future where more women are equipped to lead, innovate, and create lasting impact in their communities.

We’re halfway through the Skills Acquisition Workshop (SAW) powered by SkillHer x dRPC, which commenced weeks ago with an intensive  Facilitator's only workshop , and the journey has been nothing short of transformational.
