From December 2025 to March 2026 , SkillHer continued its mission of empowering young women through its Job Shadowing and Traineeship Program:  a practical and purpose-driven initiative designed to connect participants with real-world experiences in community engagement, project management, and digital communication. The program was created to bridge the gap between school,   ambition and action , providing young women with the opportunity to observe, participate in, and contribute to meaningful work within a growing social impact organization. Through mentorship, hands-on assignments, and collaborative projects, participants gained practical insights into what it takes to design programs, manage initiatives, and engage communities effectively. We understand that it’s not enough to simply teach women and girls new skills—we must also create real-world opportunities for them to apply those skills, gain confidence, and see what’s possible. That’s why we introduced the SkillHer Job Shadowing Program . The "Why" Behind Job Shadowing Many of the women we serve are talented, motivated, and ready to learn—but unsure about how to translate what they know into viable career paths. From March to May 2025, SkillHer brought learning to life through its Job Shadowing Program, a practical and purpose-driven initiative that connected young women with real-world experiences in community and project management. Designed to bridge the gap between ambition and action, the program gave participants an intimate look at what it takes to build and sustain digital communities and run impactful projects.
